Deep honey color with slight pink streaks. Unfiltered! Strawberry jam jumps out, chocolate-covered cherries, kombucha, blood orange, candied honeydew yellow peaches in lemon juice. Aromas of a bag of sour gummy worms and regular gummy worms, white flowers. Acidity + tannin are a power couple in this wine asserting themselves immediately on the palate, leaving room for fruit after a swallow and salivation. The finish is strawberry lemonade fresh and sour candy powder.

This is an incredibly interesting and drinkable wine! The grape, Negroamaro, literally means dark and bitter. The darkness is present in lush black/purple fruits and perfumed tobacco, clove, and chocolate. The teeny hint of bitterness helps to brighten the wine and cleanses the palate after complex bites.
Serve at 63/64°F / 17/18°C
This bright ruby red comes from a vineyard that is 2,530 years old in the Salento region of southeastern Italy. The grapes are grown in Guagnano and were manually harvested in the second and third weeks of September. After crushing and de-stemming the grapes, the mass containing the must macerates for about 7 days at 26-28°C. The resulting wine ages for 3 months in new and used barrels.
The Vegamaro is bottled in a Bordeaux dark and light bottle. The cork is a sugarcane by-product. The wine is ready about three months after bottling. Its organoleptic properties remain unaltered for at least three years.

Delicate on the nose and super reserved at first, this wine opens up to beautiful red fruits and floral notes. As it warms slightly and interacts with oxygen, it shows red and pink-candy flavors without any of the sweetness. Ripe stone fruit and melon, wild strawberries, red apple, and pomegranate with perfectly piercing acidity. The longer the bottle is open the more delicious fruit she gives. This wine has a very long finish and the structure and fruit to stand up to a red curry with coconut.
